Settlers Crossing is partnering with Eastern Mountain Sports and the White Mountains New England Mountain Bike Association (WMNEMBA) for a fun, beginner-intermediate mountain bike ride in nearby East Side Trails.
Bring A Friend Riding on Saturday, May 12 at 11:00 a.m. at the EMS at Settlers Crossing in North Conway, NH. This event coincides with the Half Way to Bring A Friend event taking place at Settlers Green from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. the same day.
-This is a free ride, but you must complete registration to participate.
-This is open to men and women, ages 18+. Be prepared to show valid ID at the event check-in.
-The first 10 riders to register will receive a swag bag from EMS and a $5 voucher to Black Cap Grille for a post-ride snack.
-All riders will be eligible for discount coupons to shop at EMS after the ride.
-The ride will begin at the Eastern Mountain Sports store at Settlers Crossing and be led by volunteers from WM NEMBA.
-Riders must have their own bike to participate. We will not provide bikes. EMS does not have bike rentals. However, it does have a Tune Shop and supplies such as helmets, gloves and other bike gear to purchase.
-The ride will be roughly two hours long. It will include less than a mile of road riding to the trailhead on Hemlock Lane, where terrain will be solely trail. Trail details available here.
-All riders should bring their own water and supplies for the ride such as snacks and extra bike supplies. There will be no event support on the trail.
-The ride may be cancelled if conditions are unfavorable prior to or on the day of the event. The swag bags will still be available to all registered riders that qualify (first 10 to register) and coupons will still be available for all riders to shop at EMS on the day of the event.
